Job Summary
We are seeking a Product Manager to drive the development of Delta Controls cloud-based software products from conception to launch, effectively bridging the gap between end customer requirements and software development teams. As Product Manager, you will engage regularly with customers, marketing, and engineering teams to create solutions that fulfill the needs of all stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Product Management, Cloud, SaaS and enterprise networks. You will collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to define, deliver, and enhance the Delta Controls cloud platform, ensuring its success and growth in the market. You will report to the Director of Product Management.
Work Location: In-office environment that is currently 3 days per week
City: Surrey
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Compensation: $90,000 - $105,000
This range reflects the minimum and maximum target payable for the base salary of new hires across all Canadian locations. Actual compensation may vary outside this range and is dependent on various factors.
Duties and responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage all aspects of products in portfolio from conception to release and during the product’s natural life cycle.
- Maintain feature roadmap and ensure alignment with business strategy and priorities.
- Define high level marketing requirements to produce the product vision and scope.
- Interview user groups, meet with customers and develop use cases.
- Review and prioritize incoming feature requests, bug reports, and customer needs.
- Coordinate with other business units to ensure system compatibility and feature alignment.
- Perform product validation and oversee beta trial program.
- Coordinate product releases, including documentation and announcements.
- Review documentation and provide guidance and direction to Technical Writers.
- Develop and maintain product pricing strategy and gross margin for existing and new product offerings.
- Attend relevant trade shows and external customer meetings.
Required skills and abilities
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions and translate market insights into actionable strategies and initiatives.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Clear understanding of Cloud Systems, SaaS and enterprise products.
- Technical knowledge on smart buildings, data centers, healthcare, energy management would be an asset.
- Experience in any of these areas would be an asset: cloud infrastructure, containers, developer tools, developer operations, serverless, software as a service, marketplace, and/or billing.
Minimum qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years experience in product management and/or experience developing and launching products and technologies within Cloud, SaaS and enterprise networks.
